I think I can suggest something better …. a cure …. and free support from a specialist, if you need it.

Panic and anxiety (fear, nervousness, etc) are normal and natural reactions for people in many circumstances. They’re a rational response to being threatened, an imminent accident, public speaking (for most of us), etc. It’s only where we find our personal responses would be considered inappropriate by most people’s standards that we should consider we have a problem, and it sounds like you have reached that point.

Anxiety disorders are caused by a little area of the brain that gets wired incorrectly – and it’s quite simple to re-wire it, but until you do that no amount of counselling, or medication, hypnosis, NLP, or whatever, will cure it – I guess that’s why doctors talk about ‘managing’ anxiety – they often don’t understand it’s curable, or perhaps they do understand that a cure is not good for their income!

I used to have a silly fear of moths – I’m sure it sounds silly to you too, but it was very real to me. And knowing it was silly and irrational didn’t stop me cringing and running from a room when a moth appeared – even a little one. I’d had my fear for as long as I can remember. A friend taught me how to do a Doyle Trace and that got rid of it. It works when you can be specific about the fear.

For you, an easier way would be The Linden Method – I’ve included a link below. Charles Linden promises to cure anxiety disorders – and has a 96.7% success rate, and a one year money back guarantee. A money back guarantee is something you’ll never get from your doctor, pharmacist, psychologist, etc! I’ve seen some people comment that it’s quite expensive, but it’s currently under $90, and the money saved on drugs and doctors would soon cover that, and more … and to be completely cured of your anxiety problems must be worth it – obviously you’re the only one who can judge that, but just think of how much better your life will be when you are no longer constantly scared that you’ll have another panic attack! It’s a simple technique you do yourself, but they have people in centers around the world to support you, if you need it, and at no extra cost.

You can also help yourself by keeping healthy – drink lots of fresh, clear water (skip the coffee and fizzy drinks!), eat lots of fresh (ideally organic) vegetables and fruit, exercise (walking is great, but cycling and swimming are good too), breathe deeply and slowly, and meditate (if you like that sort of thing). Fresh air and sunshine (though not too much of the latter) give us a physical and psychological boost too.

    I hope that helps.

If I were you I would call mental facilities or private owned businesses (psychiatrist/therapists etc) And ask them if they know of any. If they try to sell their business to you “Why don’t your friend come and see us” or w/e just hang up and try another one. I hope I helped somewhat lol

Depression support groups or someone I can talk to?
Thanks to everyone who responded to my last post. I think I do need help but I’m too afraid to get it now. So I was wondering if there are any online support groups where I could talk on or someone I could talk to online? This is only temporary for 6 months.
I saw the school psychologist in high school and I exagerrated some things out of anger which caused the school to call child services. This got my parents in trouble. Although my parents were cleared I don’t want to give them that trouble again. In six months my brother will be 18 so I won’t have to worry about something like that happening.
I will only be talking online for help for 6 months. In 6 months I will go see a psychatrist for help.
In six months my brother will be 18 which makes him an adult. Which means if I say anything like I did in high school DCF or child services can’t cause my parents any more trouble.
I’m 21. My brother is still a minor. I just don’t want anything that comes out of my mouth, especially out of anger to hurt him
No I don’t ahve a pastor or anyone else to talk to. I’ve been isolating myself lately.
